Choosing an Industrial Inspection Kit by Space Type

Tanks, vaults and confined spaces each call for a different camera and pole. How Zistos Inspection Systems match a kit to the space.

Direct answer

Zistos Inspection Systems let crews view tanks, vaults and confined spaces from outside the entry point. Zistos APEX uses modular camera heads and poles that change for each job, with live HD video on a rugged tablet.

Match the kit to the space

Space | Kit | Why it fits

Tank trailers and tanks | APEX Tanker Inspection Kit | Optical zoom camera on a T pole that spans the manway

Pipes and vaults | APEX Pipe & Vault Inspection Kit | Camera and pole set for survey from the entry point

Detail at distance | APEX Precision Zoom Kit | Optical zoom camera

One platform, many heads

Zistos APEX camera heads and poles change for each job, so one system covers several types of space. Poles extend up to 30 ft (9.1 m).

Test first

Always test the atmosphere per your site's permit program before you deploy any equipment. Zistos systems do not currently carry intrinsic safety or hazardous location certification (Class I Div 1 / ATEX). For background on remote visual inspection and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146, read Remote Visual Inspection and OSHA 1910.146.
